Our Origin Story
SPARRA was born from the belief that young wearers should never have to choose between style and comfort. Founded by parents and fashion enthusiasts, we identified a gap in the market-where high-fashion design often overlooked ease of movement, and sustainable options remained scarce.
At SPARRA, we design clothing that allows young wearers to move freely while looking impeccably dressed. Comfort is never an afterthought, and neither is responsibility. We work with carefully selected upcycled fabrics, ensuring our creations respect both craftsmanship and the world our young wearers will inherit.

SPARRA takes its name from the sparrow-a symbol of lightness, vitality, and quiet resilience. Though small, the sparrow moves with ease and confidence, unencumbered and free.

Founder - SPARRA
Ramya Shetty is the Founder of SPARRA, a contemporary fashion brand rooted in purpose, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Hailing from Kundapur, a scenic town on India’s southern coast, Ramya draws inspiration from its cultural richness and natural beauty, which inform her understated and conscious design philosophy.
A Gold Medalist in Design from Mangalore University (2004-05), Ramya brings nearly two decades of experience in fashion. She honed her expertise at a reputed French buying house, collaborating with leading European brands and premier Indian manufacturing partners. This global exposure has instilled in her a keen understanding of international quality standards, responsible sourcing, and sustainable production practices.
Beyond her professional journey, Ramya is a mother of two daughters. Her lived experience shapes SPARRA’s commitment to women’s empowerment, flexible work models, and ethical growth-seamlessly integrating business excellence with social responsibility.
